The STARS Celebration is an annual student leadership conference that showcases the accomplishments of the STARS Leadership Corps students and prepares new students for participation in the Corps. Students typically attend the celebration as a cohort from STARS Member Institutions. Sessions for students include technical excellence, leadership skills, research experiences for undergraduates, professional development, and civic engagement. Other sessions include broadening participation in computing, faculty advancement, and alliance management.

The STARS Celebration main program begins at 4:00 pm on Sunday, August 9th and ends with a closing ceremony at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 12th. The STARS Celebration includes three workshops that will begin Saturday evening, August 8th (Mentoring) or Sunday morning, August 9th (Pair Programming and Culturally Situated Design Tools).
